Terms of Use

• Wedding couples and planners — the customer engaging Love Vows RSVP to build, design, and host a wedding website.
• Wedding guests — anyone using the RSVP form on a Love Vows RSVP wedding website.

Love Vows RSVP builds, designs, and hosts an individual wedding website for the couple, including an RSVP form for their guests. The couple and/or their wedding planner have admin access to view RSVP replies and manage guest information.

The couple supplies wedding information and any photos or video to us by email. By doing so, the couple:

• Warrants that they have the right to publish that content, including any photographer licence required and the consent of any identifiable people shown;
• Grants Love Vows RSVP a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, format, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the couple's wedding site for the agreed term;
• Consents to publication of that content on a publicly accessible wedding website (see section 4).

The couple acknowledges that their wedding site is published on a public URL accessible on the open internet and may be indexed by search engines, unless they specifically request and Love Vows RSVP confirms a private or gated arrangement in writing.

Love Vows RSVP retains admin access to each wedding website in order to build, upload content, design the experience, and provide ongoing technical support.

Love Vows RSVP commits not to access or amend the guest RSVP database or any individual guest entries, other than for strict technical maintenance, security investigation, or to comply with a legal obligation.

By submitting an RSVP, the guest agrees to:

• Provide accurate first name, surname, attendance response, and (optionally) dietary requirements;
• Use the form only for the purpose of responding to the wedding invitation;
• Not submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that impersonates another person.

Guest data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

• The default hosting term is up to 12 months from the launch of the wedding website.
• Extensions or longer terms are only available by separate agreement. Confirmation by email between Love Vows RSVP and the couple/planner is sufficient to evidence the agreed term.
• On expiry of the term, all wedding data (including the couple's content and the guest RSVP database) is deleted in full.
• Either party may terminate earlier on written notice. On termination, the site is taken down and the data deleted.
• Guest RSVP data is in any event deleted no later than 6 months after the wedding date, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

The couple agrees not to supply, and the guest agrees not to submit, any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, obscene, confidential to a third party without authorisation, or that contains malicious code. Love Vows RSVP may remove such content and, in serious cases, terminate the engagement.

Any fees for build, hosting, or extensions are as agreed in writing by email between Love Vows RSVP and the couple/planner. That email exchange forms the record of the agreed scope, term, and price.

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may carry out maintenance from time to time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Love Vows RSVP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the service. This includes (without limitation) losses arising from:

• Publication of content the couple supplied to us;
• Disputes with third parties named or shown in the couple's content (for example, photographers, family members, or members of the wedding party);
• The wedding party's own onward use or sharing of guest data with their suppliers (caterers, venues, stationers, etc.).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights).

The couple agrees to indemnify and hold Love Vows RSVP harmless against any third-party claims, losses, or costs arising from content the couple supplied — including, for example, a photographer, family member, or other person depicted objecting to the publication or use of that content.

The couple retains ownership of the content they supply. The Love Vows RSVP service, templates, designs, and software remain the intellectual property of Love Vows RSVP.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws in the user's country of residence provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
